Scope of Work
- Objective 1: Administration
- Task 1.1 - TWRI served as the prime contractor for the project and provided overall administration required to fulfill the responsibilities under the TCEQ Composted Manure Incentive Project scope of work.
- Objective 2: Technical Assistance and Outreach
- Task 2.1 - TCE assessed the potential market, the compost product quality, existing educational and promotional materials available for the composted manure marketing project, and research and demonstration needs.
- Task 2.2 - TCE developed a strategic Compost Education and Marketing Plan (CEMP).
- Task 2.3 - TCE implemented the CEMP.
- Task 2.4 - TWRI developed a project web site with links to other compost production and use resources.
- Objective 3: Evaluation and Reporting
- Task 3.1 - TCE and TWRI assisted TCEQ with quality assurance activities related to compost production and use.
- Task 3.2 - TCE developed reports of current and past field trials and result demonstration activities.
- Task 3.3 - TCE and TWRI developed and submitted final project report.
